This is outrageous

26/11 2008 A day that will be etched in our memories for the rest of our lives. Why? Because India faced one of its biggest tragedies ever, the amount of people dead and physically and mentally injured and the amount of losses faced is irreparable.

And how can we forget Hemanth Karkare, Major Unnikrishnan, Ashok Kamte and all those martyrs who laid down their lives. Of course some exceptionally cheap people had comments about these people too. But anyway, the past is the past, let’s come to the present.

As we all know Ajmal Kasab was caught at the scene of the crime, he was CLEARLY A TERRORIST. This he himself is not denying. If you ask me or a billion other Indians this b****rd, son of a b***h should have been shot dead then and there. He was arrested and some brilliant idiot (who should be killed before the terrorist himself) had the idea of giving him a “fair trial.”

Firstly, a trial is given to a person who is “accused” of a certain crime, not some body who is caught red-handed. Secondly the kind of crime he has committed is not one that can be forgiven under ANY circumstances. He has taken innumerable number of lives. He is much more dangerous than any ordinary murderer. He is a TERRORIST. When will these people get the actual meaning and depth of that word. His basic job is to KILL and not in ones or twos, but en-masse. In hundreds and thousands.

These people have put him in jail and now Mr. I’m-the-king-of-the-world is unrepentant. He thinks what he did was completely right and people like Karkare, Unnikrishnan and all those innocent children, loving parents, and law-abiding good citizens deserved the most horrible death they could get.

Mr. Kasab is now sitting in the prison and is expecting red carpet treatment from the world. He wants flavored toothpaste, a perfume, an Urdu newspaper, walks in the prison veranda and he also wants his prison money to be put into a bank.

I’ll tell you what’s worse? The government is obliging. This is not even close to sheer audacity, it’s just much much worse. He has the bloody ba**s to come and make such demands.

The government is a horrible let-down. They are very crassly using Kasab and by keeping him alive are looking for the Muslim votes. And the people of our country, seem to want the same government again. This is downright unbelievable. All those people who laid down their lives serving the nation, serving these b****rd politicians are getting this in return.

I’m not only angry at the way things are going now I’m deeply disappointed and immensely scared. At this rate of advancement of the Taliban, they will not only take over our country. We never know when we could die.

Think before you vote. It’s very important. Do you want to be alive and safe or take sides to support religion?

  1. You and me think the same. But things cant be as simple as shooting Kasab on spot. He is infact the only living evidence to the whole case. There are procedures to be followed, which unfortunately take too long. In years.. Its not the govt thats let down. Its our Judicial system..
Things are not as quick and fast as they seem to be on MUKTHA..

Well I agree with you that he can’t be shot on the spot.
That DOES NOT mean he’s allowed a trial in the name of being fair. Cos giving him a trial is NOT fair.
And secondly He should certainly not be given royal treatment that he demands.
I know the system is slow. But in a case of such importance we need to give it more priority right?

  3. Hey niveditha my first visit to your blog and my first comment…

I agree that Kasab should not be given all the facilities that he asks for, but since our law says that he can ask for these things no one can do anything about it. But also shooting or hanging him would just be too easy…

I have to diagree that our system is at fault. I beleive that its not the system but the people in the system who are at fault. I mean even if you give him a trial, why the delay, there are a million and one charges against him.

  4. I’m deeply offended that you would think that the government is keeping Kasab alive to get Muslim votes. Whatever makes you think that the Muslims in this country want Kasab to go free? You think they support terrorism and terrorists?? By implying this, you’ve just played into the hands of politicians who wish to polarize the country on religious lines.

We’re all Indians first, and any attack on India is an attack on all of us. Muslims have died in the train bombs and 26/11 too. What makes you think Muslims would support such kind of mindless massacre?

    Very disappointed to read this.

Hmmm… Interesting opinion. I still stick by what I said, a trial should be given to a person who remotely deserves it. Not to a terrorsist.

    @ Arslan.
I appreciate your comment and attitude. But it’s sadly true. Obviously this does not apply to ALL Muslims in this country. The educated lot certainly know the difference, but since a majority of the country is uneducated, you can’t expect much out of them as they don’t even know what has happened. They just go by the name.
I didn’t mean any offense to your religion I’ve immense respect for the religion and everyone who follows it, but it’s a sad affair that they’re targeted world over because some Idiots misinterpret everything.
See the other side of the story and it may make sense to you.

I’m so glad to have been told what is true. I would never have guessed what my fellow Muslims think. You’ve opened my eyes. See, I’m sure you know exactly what the majority uneducated Muslim population people think. You’re educated, and can string a few words together. That surely qualifies you to judge everyone around you as you’ve understood their game.

And you’re right, if its a Muslim blowing up the train I’m traveling in, or shooting me, I’ll love him for it! Just because of his name you see.

What brilliance, what clarity, what CRAP!

(lets make a deal. I’ll never visit your space again, and kindly please stay out of mine. I’ve a low threshold for sanctimonious BS)

  7. I don’t need people like you to read my blog. You’re just a prick who doesn’t seem to understand other people’s perspectives and want to live in your own bubble. Gladly do so. If you have such a big problem with all those people who are terrorists you’re not doing anything except support them even more.
And you don’t really behave like an educated person yourself. If you can’t open your eyes to see what’s around you, if you want to be that narrow minded just shut yourself off from the world, don’t go spreading around your doctrines. Nobody appreciates them
I don’t need your expert comments about what I have to write and not.So please tick off…

  8. There you go. We have a Hindu and Muslim INDIANS fighting for readership. My name is not posted, as I do not want to take sides, We are first Indians .. You ppl are talking abt readership ?? FU both.. Think abt the magnitude of things being spoken about.
Niveditha has made a very sensitive statement, but I personally dont think its very wrong, considering the intentions. I guess she is trying to tell that the policians today are dividing and ruling.. This is completly true and every political party is doing it.

  9. I’m not vying for readership. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
It’s not a muslim’s fault, it’s just the game the politicians are playing and it’s working isn’t it?

  10. firstly, thanks for visiting my blog and commenting.
secondly, haha for the comments war here.

I agree with most of the post. But I’m of the opinion that Kasab is more valuable alive than dead, after all he sings like a Nightingale, doesn’t he? :p

  11. About the comment war. Please let us all be sensitive about what we say and understand that a person has all right(within the law of course) to write their mind on THEIR own blog.

But 1 question Niveditha. All this while I heard that Kasab was a Pakistani but no where did I hear or read that he is a Muslim.I think it was unfair for you to call him a Muslim.

  12. kasab sings like a nightinagale : what about the families whose people have been killed by kasab

  13. @atul: of course he deserves to be hanged many times. I was speaking about him being more valuable alive than dead for India. but that doesn’t mean he should be soaked in luxury while he is kept alive.

@atul: of course he deserves to be hanged many times over.

  15. @ Atul and Anoop
I don’t know if he should be alive or dead but I believe that he should get a fitting punishment for the crime he has done.

    @ Neville
Just because he is pakistani, doesn’t mean all pakistanis become bad. He follows islam, probably not in a good way, but I don’t believe it’s unfair to mention his religion. Having said that, I don’t think Islam is a bad religion or muslims are bad people.
The culprit behind this entire issue is lack of education, awareness and humanity.

  16. It is the inherent weakness of democracy that politicians do everything from vote bank point of view. In-spite of the judgement to hang a terrorist, he is still under protection of these nasty politicians.
You correctly said that Kasanb should have been shot dead on the spot itself, and before that the supporter of fair trial to him should be shot before him.
I intend to add kill all the political leaders of this country through mass upsurge to purify it, otherwise these idiot will go on making hell the lives of all Indians. But there is a lot of difference between saying and doing. We are slaves of circumstances which we have been tolerating for the last 2000 years of slavery. Our minds and bodies are doomed under this bueden of slavery. If you have time, please see http://indiainperil.blogspot.com
